Prepare the apples
Wash the apples, peel them if desired, remove the cores, and slice thinly or dice into small cubes. -
Make the egg mixture
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy. Add the milk and stir well. -
Dry ingredients
In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth. -
Add apples
Gently fold the apple pieces into the batter. -
Baking
Grease a round or square baking dish and pour in the batter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes, until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean. -
Serving
Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired. Delicious served with a spoonful of yogurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
